Woman broke into dentist’s office and pulled out some teeth

A woman broke into a dentist and office and pulled out teeth? Wait what? I hate going to the dentist every 6 months I certainly don’t go there of my own free will and especially not to break into. This story is crazy but true! A Nevada woman broke into a dentist’s office (where she previously worked) and pulled out 13 teeth from a drug addict.
A Nevada woman has been arrested after breaking into a dental office to steal money – and pull teeth. Prosecutors say Laurel Eich, 42, broke into Desert Valley Dental – where she once worked as an assistant – and stole nearly $ 23,000 in cash and checks. But that’s not all – while investigating the theft, officers also learned that the Nevada woman had already pulled 13 teeth from the mouth of a drugged patient – even though she doesn’t have a dental license. Although these are two separate cases, this remains of great concern. Eich was arrested on several felony counts, including burglary and unlicensed surgery. She also faces three counts of violating a probation or condition of a conditional sentence.
Authorities said Eich admitted to several people, including detectives, that she pulled her teeth out. She also admitted to using an anesthetic belonging to the dental office. She performed the dental extractions “at her own pace,” according to the sheriff’s office. No further information was given on the incident or the “patient” involved.
This is exactly the sort of thing that makes me even more afraid of dentists. I know the odds are very unlikely, but it gives you goosebumps just thinking about it. How does she even find herself in this situation where she might pull her teeth out? Where was the dentist? I have too many questions.
Also, why did a dentist’s office have $ 23,000 in cash lying around? It seems sketchy in itself. If this was my dentist, I think I would be looking for a change!
