CHP appoints Dr John Brazill Director of Dentistry
GREATER BARRINGTON – Community Health Programs (CHP) recently appointed John Brazill, DMD, its director of dentistry. Brazill will oversee CHP’s dental practices in North Adams, Pittsfield and Great Barrington. He will also see patients at the North Adams practice.
A dentist for over 30 years, primarily in the Berkshire County area, Brazill owned and operated his own practice in Pittsfield for 18 years. Most recently, he worked in firms in Pittsfield, Vermont and Williamstown.
Brazill graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and received his BS in Biology from Union College in Schenectady, New York. He completed his dental residency in general medicine at Berkshire Medical Center.
In addition to general dentistry, Brazill has expertise in restorative dentistry, fixed and removable prostheses and implant prostheses. As a volunteer, he worked with the Flying Samaritans, providing dental care in Mexico. He holds dental licenses in Massachusetts and Vermont and lives in Pownal.

Greylock Recognized As The Leader In Small Business Lending In Massachusetts
PITTSFIELD – The Massachusetts District Office of the Small Business Administration (SBA) of the United States held its annual meeting on Friday, December 10 and announced that Greylock Federal Credit Union (Greylock) was the No. 1 lender in the West of Massachusetts SBA 7 (a) and # 1 Lender for Rural Business. Greylock issued more than $ 437,000 in program loans in 2021.
âWe are grateful to the SBA for recognizing the hard work of our Commercial Banking team in achieving Greylock’s mission of meeting the needs of small businesses,â said Jodi Rathbun-Briggs, Senior Vice President and Director loans. âThe team not only led the 7 (a) loans, but also helped retain over 5,000 jobs through the SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program. This award recognizes everyone at Greylock, especially the Business Banking team, for their commitment to the rural businesses that are the backbone of our economy.
The 7 (a) Loan Program is the SBA’s primary program for providing financial assistance to small businesses through government guaranteed loans.

Greylock promotes Nowicki to Deputy Vice President
PITTSFIELD – Greylock Federal Credit Union has promoted Kaci Nowicki to Assistant Vice President, Residential Lending. She started with Greylock in 2013 as a Mortgage Closer.
âI have no doubt that her dedication to Greylock and her in-depth understanding of the mortgage process will be an important part of our members’ success,â said Tara McCluskey, vice president and director of mortgage origination.
In her new role, Nowicki manages the mortgage closing and processing groups. She started her banking career as a teller at a local bank. She holds a BA in Business Studies and Corporate Finance from Southern New Hampshire University.
